States that he took from Jail, Harriett Kane with her children in 1861. The child Laura then being bet. the age of 2 + 3 years, and in the summer of 1861, he gave Harriett permission to visit her mother in Frederick Co Md. She did not return until March last. the child had been left with Mrs. Davis during this time, when Harriett returned she demanded Laura, she was referred to the overseers of the Poor of Mineral Co. W.Va. when she was informed the girl had been bound to Mrs. Davis by them in accordance with laws of the State. |

There are two dots, meaning two "i's", so name isn't GWIN like the person originally put in. Tennallytown is really Tenleytown, an historic neighborhood in NW Washington, D. C. Susan Walker was in charge of the Industrial School.
