States that he worked for Mr. Taylor a messenger in the office of Gen'l O.O.Howard. white washing & repairing his (Taylors) house; that he agreed to pay him (Wilson) Eight (8) dollars for the job; that he paid him Four (4) dollars when it was finished - and promised to pay him the balance when he (Taylor) received his pay; and that he now refuses to pay him any more money.

States that her and her husband lived with Alexd P. Hill of Prince Geo Co Md; that on the evening of April 1st, she was maltreated by Daniel Hill (son of Alexander) who threatened to blow her brains out, that the elder Hill refused to pay her husband what money was due him; that while they (Louisa & her husband) were preparing to go away a colored man came to them, and told them that the two Hills were awaiting them with loaded revolvers; Asks the assistance of the Bureau in procuring the money due her husband and bringing these men to justice.
