Dear Sir,
I desire to get a negro woman with daughter for house help & will give them a good home & good wages. My family is small. I live at Edgeworth Station about 13 miles from this city in a very pretty valley. Other persons in my neighborhood are desirous of colored help. I understand the Bureau will send the people on free of charge. For reference to my own responsibility I refer to one representative Hon J K Morehead. Would you be kind enough to give this matter your attention & oblige

Yours Respectfully,
Wm A. Collins.
