Vol 2. No 707 A C D C 67

in authority. I earnestly solicit your kind consideration of my case, my claims, & necessities, that I may be enabled at no very distant day, to have my family with me, and be able to give them support as I did previous to the War and the misfortunes I thereby met with

Feeling assured of your Kind Heart, towards wounded, and disabled Soldiers, (and thinking that perhaps, you know something of my circumstances at the time of the breaking out of the war, and the sacrifices I then made of position &c) I have implicit confidence in submitting my case to your generous consideration

Most Respectfully Yours
Geo. W. Clarke
