FERME-ECOLE NATIONALE
Pour les Enfants de Soldats noirs et les Orphelins de Couleur,
Autorisee par Acte du Congres en date du 25 Juillet 1866.
EASTERN BRANCH WASHINGTON, D.C.

Washington, D.C. April 12th 1867

Mr H. de Mareil

Dear Sir The boys have not suitable
clothing = They have only one woolen and
one cotton shirt apiece and the cotton shirts
are scarce any of them large enough for
the boys, especially the large boys - I think
they should have a change of cotton shirts as
it is getting too warm for woolen = They
also need hats, pants, and coats, = Should
be attended to soon

Yours With Respect

J.W Burghduff
