Mill Creek Apr 5th, 1867

Dear Mr. Harrison

Sir haveing understood from your Sister inlaw Mary Gary that you was a good farm hand and that you was a gentle man of good standing in this neighborhood where you belong I thought I would  send for you to come and work on my farm for which I will give you $10 dollars per month and find you and your wife, and if your children are large enough to work I will find them. if you can come I want you to come ameadiately as I nead your servises

I live in two miles of fortress monroe no more but come soon yours Respectfully
