I have the honor to submit the following statement made at this Office by Rosa Miller (colored)
 
She states that in the year 1862, she left her Master George Marshall, who resides at or near Bowling Green Caroline Co. Va and was obliged to leave her child Hannah Miller, then 2 years of age. Since that time (After the close of the War) she has made repeated efforts to recover possession of her child. But Mr. Marshall refuses to give it up, she states she is able to provide for it, and submits the enclosed communication from A, O'Bryon of this City in corroboration. She now requests the interposition of the Bureau R F and A L, that the child may be
