Wash, July 10./67.

Capt. W. M. Beebe Jr.
Local Supt. D.C. Bureau Ref, &c.

Sir

I have the honor to request that William Gallaway dependent Freedman now at this office may be admitted to the Home of Freedmens Village. He is nearly blind and very deaf and seems to have been parallized. He seems to know nothing of the city, nor much of any thing else, and would not find his way to Head Quarters were we to send him. Would respectfully ask that an ambulance be sent for him at this office, as he has no home near here.

Very Respectfully
J. S. Griffing
Agent.
