these have paid as rent since October 1 1866 to June 30 in the agregate $627.44 an average of $69.71 5/9 per month for the rooms occupied.

From Decr 8th to July 1st 1867 this office has sent away on transportation, Males 232 - Females 247.  Total 479.  These were distributed among the states as follows to Michigan New York, Connecticut, Ill, Ind - R.I. - Md. - Ark - Maine - New Hampshire - Mass - Ohio & Penna.

Parties sen to Southern States (including Md. more recently) and the District of Columbia for which private contracts were made 220.

We also have in connection with the diet Kitchen under the supervision of Misses Heacock and Carter an Industrial School where 56 children in attendance have been taught to braid straw - sew &c an enterprise worthy the highest commendation.  3 day and 1 night school has been taught here.  Also one Sabbath School with much success.

Several hundred Marriages consumated.  Funerals attended &c
