States that the attention of the Ass't Com has been called to the fact that a large number of freed people have been sent to Providence R.I. by Mrs Griffing & Employed at Brickmaking, which work will cease on the close of summer, & the people thrown out of employment. Directs that they be sent to Hartford Conn, & vicinity where permanent Employment can be secured for them Rec O. L. S. D.C 8/3 " 1867. Aug 3" 1867 Respy referred to ___ Agents.
