The Assistant Commissioner directs that you place the name of A. P. Clark, on your Roll, at Thirty (30) Dollars per month, to date from September 1s 1867 and assign him to duty as Watchman, at East Capitol Barracks. He will be instructed in addition to his duties as Watchman to aid Mr. Griffing in the work of procuring employment for freed people.
