Lt. Wm. W. Rogers
A A A Genl

Lieutenant,

I have the honor to request that Robert Beverly and wife Minerva and Daughter 13 years of age, be admitted to freedmans home.

The above named dependent freed-people are old, and infirm, unable to provide for themselves with the necessaries of life.

They have been and are now, residing [[strikethrough]] at [[/strikethrough]] in these barracks, since March 1866 and have not been able to pay one fourth (1/4) of their rent. They express a willingness, to go to the home.

Very Respectfully
Your Obdt Servant
