O.L.S.D.C. 1868 States that a gentleman living at Gardiner, Maine, desires a good healthy strong colored boy 16 to 18 years of age to work around the house and in the field. Is acquainted with tho gentleman and knows him to be kind and trustworthy. He is willing to feed and clothe the boy and give him one hundred dollars 100.00 per year; he will advance his transportation. A boy was sent some time since but found a place that he liked better.
