outside my camp, what she could not obtain through me.

By reference to my Books, I find under date, "Dec. 13th", the following applications, all of which have been filled —

"For Elsie Mason, one dress, and one blanket — For her daughter Eliza, one dress, and one pair of shoes — For Franklin, one jacket, one pair of pants, and one pair of shoes — for the baby, one dress. Food for the family $2.00."

Two days before the date of her complaint, I found a large block used as a stop to one of the Rooms, stolen, and concealed in her Room. On the next evening, that preceding the date of complaint, I visited all the Tenements in my Camp, as a severe storm was raging, relieving the necessities of all. In the Rooms of Elsie Mason, I found two large fires — One Room, and fire, was occupied by her daughter Caroline, a girl of twenty years, with a villainous looking fellow from outside the Camp. This Caroline, is a doubtful character, who lives a very idle, if not dissolute life.
