The General Alcoholic Collection

Mr. Blish has been kept steadily at work on the East Coast Alcoholic Collections of Crustacea and Radiates, during these two months, and has succeeded in placing them in excellent condition. These collections are very large, the reserve portion filling up the greater part of the cases in the West Basement Invertebrate Room, and from their size and completeness they probably compose the most valuable portion of the marine invertebrate material in the Museum. Mr. Blish has so far not attempted to identify the species, but has carefully separated them on the shelves, catalogued them, and also made out the Catalogue Cards complete.
