A work of much importance to zoologists, which we began two years ago, and have continued at intervals to date, is the compiling of bibliographies of the writings of American zoologists, who have published on marine invertebrates. American publications on marine zoology are very numerous and some are now difficult to obtain. Three or four of these bibliographies are now well under way, and it will be possible to issue them the coming year.
