We had rain the night before we left Quebradas. For fully three quarters of an hour the lightning was almost continuous on the mountains which hem it it. If it comes before our one or two weeks' work is completed, we come too. If not, we stay to finish it. I got well sunburned today, but don't mind it, & am in fine shape. I take 10 to 20 grains of quinine a day, & feel absolutely OK. The heat is bothering me & G. much less than it did the others. good night carita.
