After seeing her I telephoned to Bussey, found Hubbard, and asked him if I might come out to see him, saying enigmatically I was Mrs. Blake. I guess it got his curiosity well worked up guessing, for when I got there and entered his office, he came forward humming, “Are you -er- Sidney’s wife?” and “That was all I could think of.” And he read your letter and went in to see Wheeler, who promptly said he didn’t need anyone. Hubbard came back and asked all about you, and I told him, and after a while he asked if I would care to work with him cataloging. I didn’t see anything better and agreed. He will have to take the matter up with some higher authority but said that he hoped he could arrange it so I could come, and that he would let me know

Then his curiosity – which I think is considerable – got the better of him, “May I ask you a rather personal question - er – are you the one that was at the Psychopathic?” He said that he used to tease you about me. About that time someone came in, and Hubbard rushed around “This is Mr. Scheinfurt [[Schweinfurt]] … one of Sidney’s friends", and Charlie S. dangled a lean hand and graciously said he was very glad to meet me. And we all sat down, and Charlie began asking about you. He looks badly still. He is working on orchids there. You would have laughed to see the two sitting there cross legged in front of me, and talking about you and grinning away. I felt quite at home as long as I could talk about you. Hubbard was curious about my key, and I played on his curiosity by saying I might be wearing your key, and after that I saw he was trying to read what was on the key. He is the most curious chap. He said his wife had been a nurse, but I didn’t enlighten

When you search "Scheinfurt" nothing came up - just showed "Schweinfurt". The right side here is a continuation of the right side of Page 55 image, and the left side continues onto the left side on PAGE 55 image.
