it was a very satisfactory ride. The baby had a rundown the beach at Cohasset. The tide was out and it was chilly and windy there and she was glad to get in.

I told them about your coming banquet & Maude offered me one of her dresses to wear for the occasion - she has 2, and I tried it on and am going to ask Bertha if she can run a few needlefulls of thread about the most ample places. Maybe it would be presentable, altho undoubtedly decidedly commodious. Maude seemed to think it would do. It is gray silk lace all over, long sleeves and not low in back.

Tomorrow I am going in Town. Alice enjoys staying very well, I think, and will take care of things. Tuesday forenoon sometime Mrs Barry will come over, and I must get the dresses tended to, and Wednesday I shall start back. Ralph said he might take me over to Brochton then, but he may forget it. I must see Olga one of these days too. So as far as I can now see you may expect me on Thursday at 1.05 P.M. - the B. & O. leaves Jersey City NJ at 8.27 A.M. as near as I can reckon.

The baby has had a mother cat and one or two sucking kittens over everyday & is having a fine time. I must put her to bed now.
Doris.
