Palo Alto, 26 June 1934

Dear D. & D.:

Yesterday we had a pretty full schedule of meetings, which revealed the work here in a much more favorable light than I had suspected. Today we have more meetings, but I shall try to find time to look up Miss Dale (now Mrs. Dreier) for a few minutes, and must get to the herbarium again. Tomorrow we set out for the mountains. It was decidedly cool here yesterday, and there was quite a little shower about noon. Haven't had a letter from you yet, but hope to today. Love, SFB

After today I shall probably not be able to get off a card every day.
