I have beem racking my brains to think of some Xmas presents that she might make for me to keep her busy this fall and winter. She is knitting new cuffs to the Baby's sweater just now, the yarn that I got being a pretty good match.

I mean to get into Cambridge tomorrow, hot or not hot, a new dress or not! Mrs. O. wants to take 4 or 5 days about the 4th to go home, so that the last week I shan't get any chance to go in, I am afraid. But when we come home late, I hope to be able to go in more.

I met "Uncle Will" on the way home from down town this morning. He wanted to know about you.

Got your card from Chicago written before you reached there this morning, and am glad you had pleasant weather and a good night's rest. Keep up your nourishment and don't try to save too much on expenses.
