I persisted in keeping busy, and at last his patience flew, and he yelled, "You're the  damnest  woman I know!" Fortunately my mother enjoys puttering over him to his heart's content, and I can do the housework. (My mother is going to have an orgy of Fish tomorrow)

Well - there isn't much to say, so I'll quit. I called up [[strikethrough]] Cameron[[/strikethrough]] Campbell & he said Pa's name wasn't on his Jan. list that he was about to send in, & he must be due in Feb. I changed the $50 buying 7ยข worth of spinach.

Pa is about the same, still coughing, still up & down out of bed. Harris came up this morning & shaved him, he had wanted him to come. No word from Mrs. Osborne, hope she isn't going to have pneumonia. The sky is gray & snowflakes come sifting down.
