[[strikethrough]] We [[/strikethrough]] In the mornings I walked around the neighborhood with Dot (finding a dove's nest in a pine across the road and in back), while she picked dandelions; and then sat on the piazza for a while with her and wrote while she played. She had a 2-hour nap and afterward we drove the Ft. Humphreys and disposed of the turtle. On our return we had supper.
