Dear Sid:
I hope you had a good trip. You must be just coming in as I write at 7. I went on to the M.C.Z & stayed till 2:30. Böving spent the forenoon there. Prof. Bradley is back after his trip. Miss Bryant invited me, the Kastens & Prof. Chickering to lunch at the Faculty Dining Hall. Kasten had horse meat steak and said it tasted just like good beef steak, Miss Bryant & I had scrod, a fine fish steak, & Prof. Chick. just a bowl of soup because it would make him sleepy to eat more! It did me, and I came home early. Lina & Doris were over calling on Maud. L. is staying over night. I will get off your bundle tomorrow, don't forget the camera. Doris brought up the rest of the wood from your place. The cat has gone to bed in the woodbox-to Ma's delight! She watches his habits with curiosity. Doris is re-knitting her sweater. She has stayed home all day. Will write tomorrow. Hope you are all right. Don't stay up nights & get enough to eat.
Doris .
