Miss Schreber sent a letter and clipping
about Arlington schools postponing their opening
on account of polio. Is there much in Wash
D.C.? I dread bringing Doris back for that.
I am going down to the library with all the
books as soon as I finish this.

Maybe tomorrow I will go to Cambridge 
and bring home my specimens and binocular.
D. & I went down after the ladder this morning 
and gathered a few grapes. She can get more 
later as they ripen. Mrs. Daly said the coming 
tenant would like to paint the kitchen if you 
would furnish the paint. They wanted us do the 
bathroom too - - that oil clothe paper tho is very 
good. -- couldn't get it now, too bad
