Dear Sid:
I can't find a portal, so am writing a letter, altho there isn't much to write.  Yes, the boxes came the Sat after we arrived, taking from Mon - Sat to get here. So don't ship up any peaches or tomatoes that way, but bring them as baggage, sending the day before you start, or the day, as it is convenient. Your train leaves at 9 or 10 P.M? I have forgotten. Anyhow you have a good reservation. It is very muggy here, - must be awful down there. I am glad you didn't get the thunderstorm we got while you were at Plum PT. with Richard.   Doris, Mabel and I went swimming at York Pond yesterday. Doris is learning to dive off eel rock there. It is deep water but only for a little stretch. I sit about clucking like an old hen, I fear, but she is much improved in her swimming now, and I think one has to allow a little rein for her.
