Dear Sid:

We are still cool up here. Doris has gone to Brockton hunting for a bathing suit. I have just been down on the byke marketing. Yesterday I went berrying but there are none...late frosts & dry weather. Later maybe a few huckleberries. It will be a loss to us as we depend on them so much in summer.

We haven't finished the lawn yet, but will this afternoon. Mrs. B. is going to the Edith Trollop wedding all the P.M. The boxes haven't come yet. You had better bring up your box of tomatoes & peaches as baggage.. the byke came next day.. and that would be the quickest way of travel. Hope it isn't too hot. The cat is enjoying outdoors and eating haddock heads and sleeping in the bay window and coming up from the cellar with cobwebby whiskers.
