Dear folks: Yesterday we had a heavy rain, which interfered with traffic on the return to town for some people. Got your letter yesterday. Had to get a new battery for my car, but am all set now for a good while to come. Shall be glad to see you back. The [[strikethrough]] lilene [[/strikethrough]] Lychnis is evidently the red-flowered one and I think my first record.
