Our old cat was out last evening till 3AM when he scratched and wanted to come in. After breakfast he wanted to go out again and I let him go, and ma had been worrying about where he was, - not a sign all day, - till a few minutes ago at 4 P.M. (his feeding time) he deseended [descended] from the roof via the Devil's walkingstick tree. I guess he has slept there all day. He won't get let out tonight, that's acert.
