  The bunny should be let go, of course.  He is a dear little fellow but we can't keep him indefinitely.

  I wish you might come straight east to Boston instead of having to go back to Wash D.C. but suppose on account of red tape you cannot do so.  Couldn't you transfer to Cambridge for a couple of days' work & rig it that way?  Try at least that wrinkle.  It wouldn't cost the gov. any more, perhaps less and be less wearing on you.

  Doris won't go to Glen Echo.  She promises Mabel can't go there either now after the talk I gave her father, so don't worry about us.  

It is a cool rainy day and we have been sewing all day.  I am so glad you have a chance to get away from that terrible "hell-hole" even for a week.  It will make you a vacation
