Dear Sid:

It is growing warm again and is very dry. We need a rain badly. No card from you today, but Sat. there is only 1 delivery.

I have been shellacking the linoleum,- the bathroom and dining rooms this afternoon. They look very well now and are already dry.

Doris has gone over to the Brockton pond with Mabel, and hasn't reached home yet,- 6 p.m but they didn't start till late, as Mabel had all the homework to do. I told Mabel's father not to let her go to Glen Echo and he has forbidden it too, so that is settled.

Doris went down town 3 times this forenoon but eventually got there in time to get meat for Sunday,- 2 lbs of hamburg. I will make it into a loaf and it should last several days. There
