He is going to clear up the part on Walnut St now, having done to the end of the back of our house in back, and will have a steam shovel (at $35 per diem) working. He wants to make a stone wall half way along of the stones he gets out, and has cut some good ash post from the young ashes and wants to have a fence from your building back to the wall so that folks will quit going there. I gave my hearty sanction of that. He would like to cut that big old wild cherry on our land and I'm glad to get rid of that too. Eventually I think he plans to put up 2 houses, but he can't build now of course. I hope he puts up decent ones, though, and doesn't rent to foreigners and a cheap crowd.
