Dear Sid:
I am glad if you got down to the Beach Sunday as you had planned. It was a pretty hot week and Sunday capped them all here. I hope you didn't get over tired and overheated.

Miss Colcord, Gregory, and the two children all appeared last evening. Doris and Mabel ate supper in the dining room after the movies while the rest had ice cream (I got a qt.) in the living room.

This forenoon Doris and I have been very busy. I started cutting down little trees over at the old place, and when I was tired, I got a lot of old stuff down at the edge of our grove and pulled it up. Ma got interested and she pulled up some too, - think of it, but one trip was enough for her. Now
