Dear Children well it-has been a good bright day the first Sunday in the month we sat out on the french piazza in the forenoon and the side one in the afternoon not a soul has been in except Freds Friend who at his house last night was having a vacation from [[wae?]] Washington he visited Fred last night so Ralph stayed here all night and we have not seen him today. Pa had a very good night fred R. had to call F at 5 this morning. Pa likes Fred have Yulle moved yest and wants to higher the friend-room for living at her expense
