Dear Sidney,

Read your postal yesterday and glad to hear from you. Don't know just when I wrote you last but the time has gone so fast lately between the work at home, the office, and the beach that I haven't done much else. Last Sunday Maude, Henry, Eddie York and I went to the beach and while we young fellows were out fishing Mrs. Malone who has [[hired?]] the house the past two years stopped and talked with Maude about it for this season and Maude told her I would write her about it. She wanted the gas put in and the curtains changed and some different furniture and as the old stove was no good and simply smoked the place up every time you tried to have
