opening in the sea wall on the beach below us toward Green Hill and when we went down Thursday our street was closed to travel - I told the cop I had a cottage there so he let me through - and when we got in sight of our house two town trucks were there and they were loading them with rocks from the middle of the street. It didn't damage our house luckily altho the people next door said there was so much

water that they expected to see our garage washed away. We had hardly recovered from this storm when another was predicted for Sunday. It started in Sunday morning with snow and the wind north east but soon changed to rain and how it did pour and how the wind did blow. Maude and I and Lawrence White, his wife and mother rode down to Nantasket and North Scituate and Alice White said she had never seen it so rough.
