Dear Sydney,

We were up to Doris' folks last Sunday night and her father had a big box and said he would put our things in it with the things they were sending for Christmas so imagine you will have received them before you get this letter. Thanksgiving this year there was just Maude Henry and I and it will be the same at Christmas as Ralph will not get home but will leave for Maine Saturday night the 27th and arrive there Sunday morning. Harts mother wrote that they had received a beautiful present from the Sidney Blakes. Too bad you can't be there. I sent a bundle to Mary and one to Uncle Kin Wednesday and hope they both arrive in time for their Christmas. Mary wrote that they weren't going to send any presents this year. She said
