changed my mind as I really leave this delightfull country for good next summer. The Guv'nor has at last cared. Do you think you would take the trouble to write to a fellow when he was living on nothing a week in Paris just for the sake of art? I am painting a chromo of two children sitting in a large chair by the window, with the sunlight falling on them and a large yellow dog (Sancho) watching them; they are looking intently at a large book. It (the chromo) is called Very Interesting. It is a wonderfull [[wonderful]] production. Do you doubt it?

I am also painting on of a dark female in an Eastern costume with fluffy black hair, it is way ahead of anything I have ever painted, so far.
