I am afraid you would be a dead Emmie if you were here now, it is about steen below zero and the snow is about 1 1/2 feet on a level. More than we had all last winter. Tell Dan that it has snowed twice this week since he left. I wish I was in Florida it is too much for me. I am going to N.Y. Thursday if the money holds out. We have been showing Mr. Dan the glorious city of R. He probably have told you his impressions of the Hut before this fifteen puzzle arrives. We had some jolly good times with him. I think he liked better than he expected to. While I think of it I want to thank the crowd collectively for the description they gave him of me.
