Went to the Museum Monday eve. to see Gilbert & Sullivan’s latest opera, its first presentation in America it was very good. The music was very pretty but was sung pretty badly in some cases. Wilson was very funny as Ging [[King]] Gama awfully good makeup with a chin that came out like this [[image: drawing of a man's face in profile, protruding chin]] most hideous looking thing that you [[strikethrough]] nev [[/strikethrough]] ever saw. There was an awfully pretty girl in a maroon gown trimmed with ermine and a flat hat and blond wig looked something like this [[image: drawing of a woman in profile]] only good looking her name is Blanch [[Thompson?]] sings pretty badly.
