Am better now and able to be out.

This is our vacation week we are a week ahead of the public schools.

Have been working so hard lately that hav'nt [[haven’t]] had time to breath [[breathe]].

Have you become an expert at tennis? I suppose you have.

Dear Emmie

So you are really coming home, well really. I had an idea we should not see you before May or June. Your statements in your last letter are rather mixed. You first tell me that you know I never forget anything and then you want to know if I have forgotten you.

The tennis here is somewhat limited being about six inches under the mud. We have no snow here just at present but expect some any-
