That is if I am not sick. I always have to put that in for I am so beastly afraid I shall be. 

I had a letter from one of the boys who is down in the country: he is not coming up for two or three wks. yet. He is finishing some pictures for the Salon next spring. 

We will have to get up tomorrow at about half past six as we have to be at the atelier at 8 sharp or we dont get a place I hav'nt seen much of Paris yet as we have been keeping very quiet so as not to be sick. When I do see it I will write you all about it. The slave has just been in trying to say something about the sunshine and has muddled me all up so I dont know whether I speak English or French but I guess we will give the preference to English or American as they call it hear. You see signs English and American shapes. We have beastly weather here now, we have only seen the sun about 15 minutes since last Sunday and that was this morning. Is the [[strikethrough]] weathein [[/strikethrough]] weather fine in Ashmont now or is it cold? It is'nt so cold here but so damp that you cant leave your window open even an inch at night without getting cold. Sunday is a gala day here everyone is on the go. How is it at home. Do you have as much company Sundays as usual? How is Miss F. and her brother? Has he gone back to Tech? Do you ever see anything of dear Roley B. now and if so how is he? Give my regards to the
