Smith girls when you write. I hav'nt written to Dan Lyons but intend to. Has he been up to the hut yet and if not is he coming? I wrote him a short note just before starting saying I would write him from Paris so I suppose I must. Did Arthur and Minnie come up this fall? I have forgotten whether you said they had decided to or not. I suppose Ashmont St. still runs towards Adams and the lamp post is still there. How I wish I was there [[strikethrough]] two. [[/strikethrough]] to walk over with you two or three times a day or more as the case demanded. Have you found anyone who [[strikethrough]] wanted [[/strikethrough]] can say as little in a given space of time time as I could: if so he has my sympathy. However I think I could do better if I were there just at present and may I would try hard.

Does your father frighten you any now if he does I will lay it up against him and take it out in standing up for him when I get home. How is that? Is it as clear as mud? If not why not. Tell me really do you think you miss me as I do you. Do you really think so. Sometimes it seems as though I could'nt stand it not to see you. And then it is that I feel blue but blue dont half express it. It seems as though I would have to take the first train for England but then I get desperate and think that I have got to learn to draw and I may as well stay now that I am [[strikethrough]] hear [[/strikethrough]] here.
