end of a long gallery of sculpture with an iron railing arming her and a guard watching over her welfare all the time. You see she is quite valuable being the finest piece of antique statuary except one in the world. She is very imposing as you come down the gallery standing out against a rich maroon background.

She is perfectly lovely one never think of her arms being gone and also one foot.

They also have some very fine old masters in the Louvre. I believe about fifteen miles of pictures. It is very tiresome looking at them and then a great many are not at all interesting, they are not the kind of thing that appeals to me. There is a portrait of a young man with an oval face, slight moustache and long hair with a large flat hat and a cloak [[strikethrough]] of [[/strikethrough]] that almost drives me [[strikethrough]] wild [[/strikethrough]] wild.
