letter to you? We are trying to get Mr. Sargent to teach us painting in the afternoon but he is in England now and no one knows when he will return. He is the man who had the portrait of the woman in black two or three years ago in Boston that I was so gone [[strikethrough]] of [[/strikethrough]] over.

He will be a splendid man to study with if we can only get him. Be careful of your self and dont get sick and I will try to do the same and all will come out right in the end. With heaps of love from your future hub.
Ned

Love to all
Many thanks for the tin types
Do be careful about your brother; he still has that disease you know.

I guess I will write a little more my darling. Frank is going to leave us the first of the month. He is going over to the other side of the river and I am d--- glad of it. He has made himself so beastly disagreeable to Al. and me that I wish he was gone now.

He is a --site worse than Clarkson ever thought of being and I think that Graves was right in what he said about him. This is Sunday night and dont I wish I could go over to Emmie's and see her dear face but I will have to content myself with writing to her. Please tell me that you will do what I asked in my last and I promise you I will always be grateful from the bottom of my heart.
Good night darling.
Love to all.

Ned.
