the girl I am going to marry some silk stockings is there dear? Tell me so and I will send some stunning ones. I have learned lots about the people around Milton from Al. You know that his folks have lived there for years and some of the stories are rather tough. I will tell you about them when I get home. I am [[strikethrough]] mm [[/strikethrough]] more in love [[strikethrough]] y [[/strikethrough]] with you dear every day and it seems sometimes as if it would make me mad when I think I cant see you till fall.

If I can only get on as I want to and get my pictures painted I guess we wont have any trouble but we wont count too much on that. If we can only see each other I shall feel better, even if I have to come back alone which makes

me feel blue to think of. Realy darling I dont see how two people can love each other any more than we do. Do you? How do you think [[strikethrough]] w [[/strikethrough]] it could be possible? I am so perfectly gone over you that I dont think I could stand it more than one year more if I can that. Tell me dearest that you love me more and more every day for I know you do dear. You know I need lots of sympathy and I want it all from you now dear just give me lots in answer to this.

Dont think it looks silly on paper but think what we are to each other and how many miles apart we are. Now I guess I will give you a little rest and lots of love to all the family - F.G. Smale has left us for good and I am very glad. With heaps of love and hopes that we will be married soon.
Ned.
