My own darling little [[Emmir?]],

I got the dearest letter from you Saturday 12 pages long. I was awfully happy [[?]] it and only wish I could write you as long a [[?]] in answer. In my last I scratched in the edges the last thing that I got into the [[Salm?]]. Of course they will have told you all about it and to my [[horror?]] as I had to write a business letter to Gus and had to put that in. Well darling I will begin with my first good luck which I gave you as [[?]] of that was getting a drawing [[eleven?]]. Of course I should get a prize as the drawing was [[?]] good enough for that but it was [[something?]] to get it chosen. I think I wrote you [[and?]] Frank's getting part of a prize. He is very strong in drawing. Well I [[?]] and the day I [[printed?]] your last letter that my picture got in all right and got in number 3. That is the first time classes of pictures are numbered and after that they hang them any where where they have room. Of the nos. one there are very few. There were only his picture [[?]] with that [one or no.?]. Last year [[?]] you [Lee?] that the [[?]] his numbers get pretty much all the places on the [[line?]]. I don't expect to get in the [[line?]] tub [?] the fellows[?] devy [?] I will.
