[[?]] nothing of Ed's movements [[?]] I did see some time ago that he went to see the Ambassadress & her daughter off, who left in state to attend her son's wedding which is also a June affair -

I wont harp on my disappointment, but I do feel very badly. Your visit would have [[been?]] so delightful, is there really no chance of something happening that will allow [[Rob?]] to come? I won't give up all hope. The weather has been very warm (in Paris) for the temperature is delightful here, [[?]] of course too dry. We are [[hoping?]] for a storm. With much [[?]] kindest regards to [[yourself?]] & Mr Van [[Rensselaer]] & a [[?]]

Your affectionate Aunt
Mary Cassatt
