Dearest Minnie

I wrote to Rob yesterday the day was dark. he may not have been able to read my writing easily. I hope I may get to Paris for a few hours this week & see you and Rob for a moment & also Mrs [[Sears?]] & Lady Hood before they leave. The new gardener is here & tomorrow his aid arrives then I have "the finests(?)" at work  the black smith who does everything is also here, he does everything
