1418 Spruce Street 14th Jan 1898 My Dear Miss Lamb, Your very kind letter reached me in Paris, just as I was about leaving for this country. I have been here about ten days & so flurried & hurried that I am only now beginning to take possession of myself again. I [[?]], after twenty two years absence every thing is so different that I wonder if I really remember anything. If I go to Boston I should like to find a small place to stay with my maid (Mrs. Thistle) & my dog, I wonder if you could help me to find such a place? I should be so much obliged to you if you could with such a party I won't take advantage of your very kind invitation to stay with you, but I hope we will see a great deal of each other. It is Mr. & Mrs. [[Hanunds?]] little boy who is to sit for me. ever yours most sincerely Mary Cassatt
